Day 1: Exploring the Bund and Oriental Pearl Tower
On your first day in Shanghai, start by visiting one of the city's most iconic landmarks: the Bund. This waterfront area is famous for its colonial architecture and beautiful views of the Huangpu River. Walk along the riverside promenade and enjoy the view of the modern skyscrapers on the Pudong side of the river.

In the afternoon, take a walk down Nanjing Road, one of the most famous shopping streets in the world. This pedestrianized street is home to numerous department stores, boutiques, and street vendors. Be sure to visit the iconic Peace Hotel, which dates back to the 1920s and has hosted numerous famous guests.
